PITCHER
Mike Clevinger, CLE vs. LAA ($9,400): The 26-year-old righty is locked in on the mound with a 1.36 ERA and 9.6 K/9 through his past six starts. The offense projects to provide plenty of run support, and Los Angeles owns a 29th-ranked .302 wOBA against right-handed hurlers this season.
Jhoulys Chacin, SD vs. NYM ($7,400): While the Mets are a daunting matchup, Chacin has been dominant at home all season. Through 10 outings at Petco Park, the righty owns a 1.94 ERA while holding opponents to a .572 OPS and .252 wOBA. Chacin also boasts an impressive 2.97 ERA and 7.9 K/9 over his past 10 starts overall.
CATCHER
Gary Sanchez, NYY at CIN ($4,400):Luis Castillo has an electric arm and shown well through his first six starts. However, he still sports a 4.57 FIP while surrendering a .349 wOBA to right-handed hitters. Sanchez's salary is well within profit territory, and dating back to last season, he owns a .376 on-base percentage and .399 wOBA against right-handed hurlers.
FIRST BASE
Yulieski Gurriel, HOU at PHI ($4,800): While the matchup against Nick Pivetta isn't the traditional handedness advantage for Gurriel, the first baseman has posted a solid .365 wOBA against righties for the year. Pivetta, on the other hand, has surrendered a target-worthy .429 mark to righty bats. It's also worth noting that Gurriel is scorching hot with a 1.006 OPS over the past 30 days.
SECOND BASE
Daniel Murphy, WAS vs. MIL ($4,700): With a .421 on-base percentage and a .405 wOBA against right-handed hurlers this season, Murphy provides both a high floor and ceiling. His salary isn't prohibitive, and he lands in a soft matchup with Zach Davies surrendering a .361 wOBA to left-handed hitters this season.
THIRD BASE
Rafael Devers, BOS at SEA ($2,900): After posting a .993 OPS against right-handed hurlers with Double-A Portland, Devers went 12-for-27 against righties during his short stay at the Triple-A level. Felix Hernandez has surrendered a .384 wOBA to left-handed hitters this season, and Devers also provides significant cap relief.
SHORTSTOP
Zack Cozart, CIN vs. NYY ($4,600): With the rookie wall seemingly catching up to Jordan Montgomery, Cozart's prowess against lefties is enticing. Montgomery owns a 4.92 FIP while allowing 2.0 HR/9 through his past eight starts, and Cozart boasts a .461 on-base percentage and .477 wOBA against southpaws this year.
OUTFIELD
Marwin Gonzalez, HOU at PHI ($4,700): As noted, Nick Pivetta doesn't fit the traditional handedness advantage, and he's actually been stingy against left-handed hitters (.283 wOBA allowed). However, Gonzalez has owned righties this season to the tune of a 1.041 OPS and .434 wOBA, so with a manageable cap hit, he's still a strong play.
Domingo Santana, MIL at WAS ($4,100):Edwin Jackson is making just his second start of the season for Washington, and the 33-year-old righty has posted a 4.97 FIP over the past three years with most of his work coming in relief. It's a ripe matchup for Santana. The Milwaukee outfield sports a .368 wOBA and also benefits from being locked into the heart of the Brewers' lineup.
Dexter Fowler, STL vs. COL ($3,500):Jon Gray has struggled against left-handed hitters this season, and Fowler has been spending some time in the three-hole of the lineup, which is a potential value boost. Interestingly, Gray's .426 road wOBA allowed to left-handed hitters is higher than his mark at Coors Field, and Fowler has shown more pop against righties this year with a .351 wOBA. The price is also right for the veteran outfielder.
