This article is part of our Weekly Pitcher Rankings series.
Ask and ye shall receive. Although, in this case, you didn't even have to ask. I ran a Twitter poll and discovered there are far more leagues utilizing an extended transaction period out of the break. To be honest, I would have done it anyway, but I was curious.
The first set of rankings encompass the short four-day week while the second set represent the extended period. Eduardo Rodriguez is the only hurler scheduled for three starts as he's slated to take the hill in the Thursday standalone makeup between the Red Sox and Yankees.
Even though we're fresh out of the break, the probable pitchers are still up in the air for many teams. An update will be posted about noon EDT on Friday. Please direct all questions pertaining to the schedule to the Projected Starters page.
