Thielbar is an impact reliever who will serve in the setup corps for the Twins again this season. Thielbar had an impressive 30% strikeout rate along with a career-low 5% walk rate. He also held left-handed batters to an amazing .341 OPS (six hits allowed and no walks in 47 plate appearances). His only blemish was missing nearly two months with an oblique injury. At age 37, he may not be a good bet to pitch in 50-plus games in a season. He also isn't used much in save chances since he's a lefty utilized for matchups often before the ninth inning.
