Berroa was acquired by the White Sox last offseason and had a few cups of coffee with his new club before he was recalled again in late August. The hard-throwing righty finished the season with Chicago, earning one win and three holds across 17 appearances while demonstrating high strikeout upside. In his limited big league sample, Berroa has struck out 32 percent of the batters he's faced, but command issues have yielded a poor 17.6 walk rate that he'll need to improve to earn more high-leverage opportunities. The 24-year-old features an effective slider (57 percent usage) that produced a 43.4 percent whiff rate and limited opposing hitters to a .173 average, but he wasn't as effective with his upper-90's fastball. Berroa is a candidate for an important high-leverage role with the White Sox in 2025, but will need to find the strike zone more often to increase his chances. Read Past Outlooks
