Luplow showed some encouraging flashes as a platoon bat with Cleveland between 2019-2021, but has hit just .184/.287/.351 the past two seasons. He didn't show much at Triple-A with Toronto, posting a .779 OPS before being released in August. He then joined the Twins who were desperate for outfielders, but he hit just .206 with a .664 OPS and two home runs in 32 games. Luplow will always have some platoon appeal given his career .833 OPS against lefties, but his limited defensive value and high strikeout rates (30.0 K% in 2023) hinder his upside. Read Past Outlooks
