Cimber is one of the softest tossers in the league, averaging just 86.5 mph on his fastball due to his submarine delivery. However, the 32-year-old was sharp for the second straight year, recording a 2.80 ERA (3.46 FIP), 1.12 WHIP and 58:13 K:BB over 70.2 innings. His 77 appearances tied Emmanuel Clase for most in the league, as Toronto featured him often, especially in high-leverage. Cimber posted career-best marks with 10 wins (tied for most among relievers), four saves and 20 holds. He figures to appear in the seventh and eighth innings again in 2023 as part of the bridge to Jordan Romano.
