Before joining Tennessee, Leeper had made seven rehab appearances between the rookie-level Arizona Complex League and South Bend, recording 11 punchouts while allowing three earned runs in 8.1 innings. The 27-year-old right-hander looks to have made a strong recovery from the third Tommy John surgery of his career, which he underwent in April 2023.
