The Twins gave Winokur a $1.5 million bonus -- almost double the $859,700 slot value -- after selecting him with the No. 82 overall pick in 2023. He has plus raw power and plus speed and has been a better hitter than expected this year, although he will likely always run higher strikeout rates, given his height and long levers.
