Rest-of-Season Projections
Diagnosed with meniscus injury
Moore has a left meniscus injury that will be "treated conservatively," though he could return to play this season.
ANALYSIS
Moore exited a Double-A game Friday after hurting his left leg, and the Angels announced Wednesday that he suffered a meniscus injury. The organization indicated that the 21-year-old will get conservative treatment before trying to ramp up his baseball activity but didn't rule him out from returning in the regular season. That's a bit surprising considering that the Double-A campaign ends on Sept. 15.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
MLB debut could come soon
Given the Angels' recent history of quickly promoting top prospects, Moore could be called up for his MLB debut before the end of the season, according to Sam Blum of The Athletic.
ANALYSIS
The team's 2023 first-round pick, Nolan Schanuel, was promoted after just 22 minor-league games last season, while Zach Neto and Ben Joyce were also the first players from the 2022 Draft to make their MLB debuts, although they didn't come up until the following year. Moore has dominated minor-league pitching since making his professional debut in late July and has a 1.484 OPS with six homers in 11 games between Single-A Inland Empire and Double-A Rocket City. The 21-year-old would retain rookie eligibility for 2025 if called up by the Angels at this point, since he'd have less than 45 days on the big-league roster and won't reach 130 at-bats.
