Latest Fantasy Rumors
Favorite to start?
McCray may enter 2025 as a favorite to be a starting outfielder for the Giants, reports Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle.
ANALYSIS
The 23-year-old finished 2024 as San Francisco's primary center fielder, but Jung Hoo Lee is poised to reclaim that role next season after being sidelined by torn labrum in his shoulder. McCray had a .202/.238/.379 slash line and 43.1 percent strikeout rate over 37 games in his first taste of the big leagues this season, and he'll likely need a better showing in spring training in order to secure the starting spot in right field for Opening Day.
