The Mets announced Thursday that Baez (knee) will miss the rest of the 2024 season, Anthony DiComo of MLB.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Baez was placed on High-A Brooklyn's 7-day injured list after undergoing knee surgery in early July to address a torn meniscus. With the Mets confirming that his 2024 campaign is over, the 19-year-old Baez will finish with a .267 average with one home run, three doubles, four RBI, three runs scored and a stolen base over 32 plate appearances with Brooklyn.
