FanDuel NBA: Monday-Tuesday Contests Value Plays

This article is part of our FanDuel NBA series.

The Monday-Tuesday contests feature two potential closeout games with Golden State and Cleveland looking to get their tickets punched for the NBA Finals. Injuries have played a big role in the Cleveland-Atlanta series with Kyle Korver (ankle) having his season ended and Kyrie Irving battling knee tendinitis. Let's take a look at the best options to round out your lineup for the upcoming contests.

Monday-Tuesday Contests Value Plays

Point Guard

Matthew Dellavedova, CLE, $3,400: This pick hinges on Kyrie Irving's status going into Game 4, but Dellavedova is a solid option if Irving sits out another game. Dellavedova's numbers aren't gaudy, but for $3,400, he doesn't need LeBron-esque stats to reach value. He's posted at least 19 FanDuel points in three of his last four games and can certainly reach that level in Game 4 with another start.

Shooting Guard

Kent Bazemore, ATL, $2,400: Baze got the start Sunday for the injured Kyle Korver and put up 32.9 FD points. Bazemore's versatility was on display as he got it done in a variety of ways, finishing with 14 points, seven rebounds, and three steals over 43 minutes of work. With Korver's season over, Bazemore should continue to produce solid numbers as long as Atlanta is in the playoffs. He's not the Hawks' best scoring option by any means, but he can do enough on the glass and defensive end to bolster his FD production.

Iman Shumpert, CLE, $4,700: Shumpert has taken his offense to another level in the last two games after a quiet Game 1 against the Hawks. He's renowned for his defense, but he's also posted 16 and 15 points in the last two games and grabbed seven rebounds in four of his last five outings.

Small Forward

Andre Iguodala, GSW, $4,200: Iguodala is a key part of Golden State's bench rotation and has put up at least 22 FanDuel points in five of his last six games. Despite coming off the bench, he gets a solid allotment of minutes (27 minutes per game over his last five). Iguodala may not be the scorer he once was, but he can still pull down some rebounds and has been a menace on the defensive end with five steals in his last two games. If you're looking to save at one of your small forward slots, Iguodala is a solid option.

Power Forward

Tristan Thompson, CLE, $5,600: Thompson is having a solid run at power forward in place of the injured Kevin Love (shoulder) and hasn't posted below 20 FanDuel points since Game 1 of the Chicago series. With the minutes boost, he's shown how good of a rebounder he is, posting six games with double-digit rebounds over his last eight games. Thompson may be one of the highest used players for this round of contests, but his production for under $6K makes him hard to pass up.

Center

Andrew Bogut, GSW, $5,400: It's not confirmed whether Bogut read this article on Thursday, but I called him out a little bit, and he went on to put up 35.6 FD points in Game 2. He followed that insane outing with a solid 29.9 FD points performance in the Game 3 blowout. Bogut has a track record of being a non-factor on the offensive end, but his momentum shows that Golden State wants him to be more involved in their scheme against Houston. He isn't the safest option, but he has shown in this series that he can provide great value if you don't want to go with the top two options at center.
