Ingram played at St. Mark's High School in Dallas, Texas. As a senior, he was named Texas State Private School Player of the Year, a McDonald's All-American and won a gold medal for Team USA in the 2021 FIBA U-19 World Cup in Latvia. In 2023-24, the 6-foot-7 forward averaged 12.2 points, 8.8 rebounds, 2.2 assists and 1.4 steals in 32.8 minutes across 37 games. For his efforts, Ingram was named All-ACC 3rd Team. Ingram's improved jump shot and plus defensive traits him a prototypical 3-and-D prospect. He brings energy every time he steps on the court with his offensive rebounds and hustle plays on the defensive end. Offensively, Ingram has developed into a reliable spot-up shooter with the ability to find open teammates. Ingram's skill set is a combination of Josh Hart and Aaron Nesmith due to his exceptional rebounding ability for his position, a capable outside jumper and the ability to harass opponents on the defensive end. At the next level, Ingram could serve as an energy boost off the bench who can create turnovers while also spacing the floor.
ANALYSIS The No. 48 overall pick in the 2024 NBA Draft, Ingram will likely spend most of his rookie campaign in the G League with the Austin Spurs. The North Carolina product was solid during Summer League while averaging 10.0 points and 6.3 rebounds over four contests and is eligible to play in 50 NBA games as a rookie under his current deal.
