The younger Battie was cleared to eat regularly on June 24 and began using a cane on July 16, both significant developments. Determined for a full recovery, he will likely undergo at least a year of intensive rehab to be 100 percent again. A whole year will require Battie to sit out Auburn's 2024 season.
