Solid day in near upset
Bazelak completed 25 of 39 passes for 254 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions during Saturday's 34-27 loss to Penn State.
ANALYSIS
Bazelak almost led his squad to an upset versus the Nittany Lions, but his pair of picks aided to an eventual comeback from Penn State. The quarterback should still keep the starting spot especially as he did see an uptick in yards and touchdowns in Week 2, and he'll take on Texas A&M in the upcoming week.

Past Fantasy Outlooks

2021
Bazelak joins an Indiana program that is in desperate need of improved consistency at the quarterback position. The 2020 SEC Co-Freshman of the Year showed promise over his two seasons as the starter for Missouri, completing 66.4 percent of his passes for 5,084 yards and a 23-to-17 TD:INT ratio, but failed to breakthrough while facing largely superior competition. Bazelak has the arm talent and steadiness to provide more consistency under center for Indiana, though he still needs to win the team’s quarterback competition against returning senior Jack Tuttle. However, the Hoosiers’ lack of proven offensive playmakers will likely limit Bazelak’s overall production.
