Declares for 2018 NFL Draft
Moore announced Tuesday that he will forgo his senior season and enter the 2018 NFL Draft, Roman Stubbs of the Washington Post reports.
ANALYSIS
The Big Ten's leading receiver in 2017 will head to the NFL after three successful seasons at Maryland despite shaky quarterback play. Moore was extremely productive as a junior, catching 80 of 134 targets for 1,033 yards and eight touchdowns to become the conference's only 1,000-yard receiver in 2017. In a draft class that's short on premier receiving talent, Moore could rise up draft boards with an impressive combine. At 5-11, Moore doesn't have the ideal height of a true No.1 receiver at the next level, but he's well-built at 215 pounds and his skills after the catch are eye-catching on film. If Moore tests well at the combine, he could work his way up into becoming a Day 2 prospect.

Past Fantasy Outlooks
2017
2016
Coming off a 2016 campaign in which he led the Terrapins in receiving yards (637) and touchdowns (six) and finished tied for second in receptions (41) behind Teldrick Morgan (43), Moore is set to lead the receiving corps in 2017. Both of the other two leaders in receiving -- Morgan and Levern Jacobs -- graduated, leaving a clear path to the lead role for Moore. The junior will also have the benefit of another offseason to jell with offensive coordinator Walt Bell, who was hired prior to last season. Moore will undergo a change in the person throwing him the ball, however. Following Perry Hills' graduation, there is a four-way battle for the starting quarterback gig. The favorite to earn the job is likely Caleb Henderson, but Tyrell Pigrome started some games in 2016 and could push his name in the mix with a strong fall camp. Either way, expect Moore to be heavily involved in Maryland's passing attack again in 2017, with the potential for additional looks with some of the competition having departed.
