Evan Stewart

Wide ReceiverWR
Oregon Ducks
2024 Fantasy Outlook
Being regarded as the number one receiver in the transfer portal is not a small task, and Stewart chose an exciting team as his suitor after logging 1,163 receiving yards and six touchdowns across 18 total games with Texas A&M. He'll team up with transfer quarterback Dillon Gabriel, who has amassed 55 touchdown passes in his last two seasons at Oklahoma before heading to Eugene. Additionally, Troy Franklin heads to the NFL, opening numerous targets for Stewart to absorb alongside returning senior Tez Johnson. Even so, Oregon's offense should produce enough to make both wideouts top-tier options in fantasy leagues during the 2024 campaign. Read Past Outlooks
Buoys passing game in win
November 17, 2024
Stewart logged 10 receptions (on 12 targets) for 92 yards during Saturday's 16-13 victory against Wisconsin.
ANALYSIS
Stewart had his most important outing as an Oregon player. The Texas A&M transfer logged double-digit catches and targets for the first time this year while filling in for sidelined No. 1 wideout Tez Johnson, who missed his second game in a row with a shoulder injury. Stewart was the only Ducks pass-catcher to log more than three catches or six targets, which underlies just how important his role was with Johnson out. With Oregon on bye Week 13, it's likely the team will have its full assortment of offensive weapons during the regular-season finale against Washington on Sunday, Nov. 30.

2023 Fantasy Outlook
Stewart led the Aggies in receiving as a true freshman, which was no small feat considering the presence of other playmakers like Ainias Smith, Moose Muhammed and running back Devon Achane. Smith was not healthy last season, which may have played a role, and he does return in 2023. So does Muhammed. However, Stewart was the clearcut favorite target of whichever quarterback lined up under center in 2022. There is still uncertainty at quarterback heading into the season for A&M; Connor Weigman is the frontrunner, but Max Johnson remains as well. Haynes King has moved on to Georgia Tech. Still, the fact that Stewart snagged 53 receptions for 649 yards in his first collegiate season, which was otherwise extremely rocky and disappointing from a team perspective, bodes well for his prospects as a sophomore in 2023.
