2020 Fantasy Outlook
Ladson is in a prime position to breakout as a sophomore. Putting up only nine catches, 128 yards and three scores as a freshman, and paired with a slightly less stellar recruiting profile than teammate Joe Ngata, Ladson figures to come at a reduced cost while offering similar upside. Clemson must replace the production of their top two receivers from a year ago in Justyn Ross and Tee Higgins, who combined for over 2,000 yards and 21 touchdowns on 125 catches. While not as physicaly imposing as Ngata, Ladson's 6-foot-3 frame will afford him redzone looks, and there's enough speed to stretch defenses as well. Having Trevor Lawrence as his quarterback should keep Ladson from busting, and there is the potential for an elite ceiling.
