The junior signal caller did not have to do much with the Beavers defense and the running game taking over. McCoy also contributed 10 rushing yards on two carries. If the first couple weeks is a trend don't expect Oregon State to rely on the passing game. It's a short sample, but Oregon State leads in time of possession per game in the nation. The junior and Oregon State will have a tougher time against instate rival Oregon on Sept. 14 in the annual Civil War game. The Ducks defense was middle of the road in the country against the pass last season.
