Will play in one of next two games
Moore (leg) will play in one of Duke's next two games, preserving his redshirt and allowing the tailback to return for 2025, Rivals.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Moore has played in three games this fall, meaning he can appear in either the Virginia Tech game this week or the Wake Forest game the following week while still preserving his redshirt. It's currently unclear when the coaching staff plans to deploy him, but he'll see the field at least one more time this fall.

2023 Fantasy Outlook
Jaquez Moore is set to reprise his role as the flash to Jordan Waters thump in the Duke backfield for 2023. Moore finished 2022 fourth on the Blue Devils in carries, but averaged a sterling 6.4 yards per carry, showing game-breaking speed for an offense that needs dynamic playmakers. The issue for Moore however is twofold. First, he’s not built to be a lead back at just 5-foot-10, 198 pounds. Further, Duke features a committee backfield that returns it’s top four leading rushers from a season ago, making it challenging to expect an increase in touches for Moore. The Blue Devils also don’t feature their backs in the passing attack, with their returning trio catching a total of 29 passes in 2022. Moore’s role and importance to Duke’s offensive attack is unquestioned, but with double-digit carries in just three games last season, he's often a more enjoyable player to watch than to roster. Nothing is there to suggest a growing role for 2023.
