ANALYSIS
With John Emery (knee) out for the season, Brian Kelly has moved Johnson to running back for depth at the position. The true freshman was named Louisiana Mr. Football in 2023 as a dual-threat quarterback and led his school to four straight state championship game appearances. It's unclear how much playing time he will get at his new position, but he is clearly a very talented athlete so should be just fine at running back.
