Allen logged double-digit carries for the second game in a row. After gaining just 20 yards against West Virginia last week, the junior running back found much more success as the Nittany Lions made an explosive comeback during the second half against Bowling Green. Allen has continued to split carries with another highly-talented running back, Nicholas Singleton, who tallied 13 carries for 119 yards and touchdown Week 2. While neither is likely to get a big workload this season, Allar and Singleton could stand to be one of the most productive duos in college football if Penn State's offense can look more like explosive unit that took the field Week 1. Their next opportunity to break out will come versus Kent State on Saturday, Sept. 21.
