Past Fantasy Outlooks
2023
2022
Johnson will attempt to replace the production of Malik Knowles and Kade Warner as he collaborates with returning quarterback Will Howard on a talented Kansas State squad. Johnson will slot in behind Phillip Brooks who is the only proven wideout on the roster for the 2023 season. Johnson comes over from Iowa after a disappointing sophomore season considering he played in just two games. Back in 2021, Johnson was a finalist for Big Ten Freshman of the Year after hauling in 18 catches for 352 yards and two touchdowns. He'll be playing for a much better offense this season as Kansas State returns all five of their offensive linemen and quite experienced on that side of the ball. The Wildcats should contend for the conference title in 2023.
