Latu caught his first touchdown of the season with an eight-yard score in the second quarter. This was also the lone passing touchdown for fifth-year senior Will Rogers, who was benched after throwing back-to-back interceptions to start the second half. Latu hasn't popped off the stat sheet in any game this season, but he's been consistent with 3.1 catches for 30.5 yards per game across 11 appearances. The Huskies will likely wait to name a starting quarterback between either Rogers or true freshman Demond Williams ahead of their upcoming regular-season finale against No. 1-ranked Oregon on Saturday, Nov. 30. Should Williams start, the team may emphasize the rushing game and short-passing attack, which could mean increased involvement for Latu.
