UCF is stacked in the backfield for 2024, opening up plenty of opportunities for their No. 1 wide receiver. Hudson is that guy after the New England Patriots drafted Javon Baker in the fourth round of this past NFL Draft. Hudson's 44 grabs for 900 yards and eight touchdowns ranked second on the team behind Baker's 52 catches for 1,139 yards and seven touchdowns in 2023. With Baker in the pros, Hudson is realistically looking at his first 1,000-yard receiving season, which would pay off his fantasy draft position. 2022 Fantasy Outlook
The incoming transfer from Auburn joins an offense that should be capable of putting up serious points in 2022. With the Tigers, Hudson assumed the role of lead wideout and tallied 44 receptions for 580 yards and four touchdowns, but was dismissed from the program after the season. The Knights return their two leading receivers from last season, Ryan O’Keefe and Brandon Johnson, but the former SEC wideout should see starting snaps immediately. At 6’1’’, 200 pounds, Hudson has the size and skill to be a true X receiver for returning starting quarterback Mikey Keene. UCF likes to air it out, but they project to be balanced enough to keep defenses honest — great news for any Knights skill position player.
