Moss has enormous shoes to fill in the upcoming season, with Caleb Williams now in the NFL after an impressive two-year stint with the Trojans. Moss has not yet had a full opportunity to prove himself with USC, but his performance in the Holiday Bowl as the man under center is promising and could hint at what he could accomplish in his likely final collegiate season. Moss completed 23 of 33 passes for 372 yards, six touchdowns and one interception in the Holiday Bowl, but his supporting cast of receivers in Tahj Washington and Brenden Rice will not be there to aid him anymore. That said, the Trojans still sport a bevy of talented wideouts, potentially headlined by five-star Zachariah Branch, heading into his second season, suggesting USC's offense should be in capable hands post-Williams and company. ANALYSIS
Moss completed at least 70 percent of his passes for the second week in a row, albeit against a much easier opponent compared to the season-opener versus LSU. The senior quarterback's lone touchdown came when he found wideout Makai Lemon for a six-yard completion just before the end of the first half. While he's not threat with his legs, Moss' very beginning to his career as USC'S starting quarterback is a nice sign for his production heading into Big Ten play. The Trojans will next play when they travel on the road for their conference opener at Michigan.
