2024 Fantasy Outlook
Four games missed in 2023 due to an undisclosed injury dampened Henderson's production during his junior year, and he's missed a combined seven regular-season contests in the last two seasons. His ability to stay healthy will most certainly dictate whether he surpasses 1,000 yards, which he only managed in his healthy freshman campaign. Additionally, the Buckeyes bringing in Ole Miss transfer Quinshon Judkins leaves fewer carrries on the plate for Henderson. The promising note is that the Buckeyes have some overturn in the passing attack Kyle McCord and Marvin Harrison gone, but Will Howard is likely viewed as an upgrade under center. Henderson has shown the ability to run through defenders, especially those at some of the top programs in the country, with 926 rushing yards and 11 touchdowns across just 10 games this past season. It should be interesting to see how Ohio State deals with both Judkins and Henderson in the backfield, but fresh legs for the pair and a potentially more explosive offense mean scoring opportunities should be plentiful. Cruises to two scores Week 2
Henderson logged 10 carries for 66 yards and two touchdowns during Saturday's 56-0 victory against Western Michigan.
ANALYSIS
Henderson logged 10 touches for the second week in a row, but he logged his first two touchdowns of the seaosn against Western Michigan. The senior broke into the end zone on a three-yard carry for the Buckeyes' first score of the game. He later scored a 16-yard touchdown on a sprint to the outside in the third quarter. Henderson still split carries with Ole Miss transfer Quinshon Judkins, who logged nine carries for 108 yards and two touchdowns of his own. The Buckeye's two-headed monster with these two at running back should continue to return explosive results. But, with limited carries and only so many scoring chances to go around, whichever player becomes the team's go-to down in the red zone could separate which one is the more valuable fantasy prospect.

Past Fantasy Outlooks
2023
2022
Henderson will look to bounce back after injuries limited his production in 2022. As a true freshman in 2021, Henderson was electric. He ran for 1,255 yards and 15 scores while also catching 27 passes out of the backfield. Last year, the tailback missed five games and ultimately underwent foot surgery prior to the College Football Playoff. He unsurprisingly sat out the Buckeyes’ spring practice period as he continues to rehab his foot, but all signs point to the halfback being ready come fall. Ohio State’s offense will welcome a new starting signal caller, likely Kyle McCord, but it should still remain one of the most potent in the country as many of the top weapons return for 2023. As for the backfield, Henderson will likely split carries with Miyan Williams, who emerged as a dangerous runner in his own right last season. When the two tailbacks were both healthy last year, they tended to split carries rather evenly. In this way, they cap each other's value, although each runner is so talented individually that production shouldn’t be an issue for either.
