However, even just at the beginning of their journey, Cricduel provides its users with endless opportunities to showcase their talent and knowledge and get a bigger reward with interesting options to play with.

So far, the Cricduel application is only available in India for Android users where you can log in and play to have a chance to win real cash. In the U.S., Cricduel's sister fantasy cricket game is available at Gully Cricket in the iOS/Apple platform.

You have to assemble a team of just eight players and not 11 and there is no budget limit that you will have to worry about.

Cricduel is perhaps one of the very few fantasy games which provide you with an option to assemble a team with either pre-toss option or post-toss option.

Using this option, a player can increase their chances of winning either way. By choosing a pre-toss option while assembling your team, a user's potential earning will increase if all the players originally selected in the lineup will take part in the match. However, there are no options to change anyone in the fantasy squad once the teams are officially announced.

By choosing a pre-toss option while assembling your team, a user's potential earning will increase if all the players originally selected in the lineup will take part in the match. However, there are no options to change anyone in the fantasy squad once the teams are officially announced.

On the other hand, assembling a team with a post-toss option can be beneficial for the users as well as they can make changes according to the proposed lineup even after the toss, something other fantasy games do not offer.

The team will consist of one wicketkeeper, three batsmen, two all-rounders and two bowlers with no budget limits and therefore, you can select as many high-profile players as you like in order to increase your chances of winning.

While selecting a player, an (i) option is available on the right-hand side which will show a different kind of data regarding the player such as how that particular player performed in the previous match and how many users have selected the same player for the match.

Last but not the least, the user will also have to select a captain and a vice-captain of the team out of the eight selected players.

How to score

The point scoring in Cricduel is divided into two parts. One is a general rule which applies across all the formats whereas there are certain features which vary from format to format. The general point distribution system says that a user will get 0.5 points for every run scored by the batsman, two points for being selected in the starting XI, 10 points for a wicket excluding runout, six points for a direct runout or stumping, four points for a catch and 14 points for a caught & bowled.

However, different points systems for different format are applied to certain areas such as century bonus in T20s is eight points whereas in One-Day and Tests it is only four points. Similarly, a duck for a batsman, wicketkeeper & all-rounder would cost a user -2 points in T20s whereas the same situation would cost -3 points in One-Day and -4 in Test.

In the bowling department, there are certain rules which applied differently in different formats. A wicket in a T20 match would earn a user 10 points whereas the similar case would earn the user 12 points in a One-Day match. However, the user will only get eight points for a wicket in a Test match.

How to win

Just like a normal fantasy game, your winning will be decided on the accumulated points your players have earned while playing in a real match based on their actual performances. However, your chances of a bigger payout can increase depending on which kind of competition you would like to take part in as there are head-to-head as well as league competitions.
