T1 vs. KT

We are back with the telecom war, and T1 were able to beat KT 2-0 last time. In some of their games they have looked a little rough due to their early game, but they have pulled off some nice team fights in the late game to win. T1's early game and mid game are better than KT's, and they have a plus-556 15-minute gold lead compared to KT's minus-105. If KT can't win early against a T1 team that has an average early game there is no way they can beat them late.

Prediction: T1 2-0

  • T1 players to Target: Teddy ($8,000), Canna ($6,800)

DMO vs. RNG

Both teams have struggled all season, and especially RNG. DMO are a team that knows how to play the game and have shown signs of good macro and micro, but they just don't have the players to mechanically compete. RNG are starting Gala, who they had the most success with, and I believe they will beat DMO pretty easily. RNG have shown glimpses of dominance in the early game, but they revert back to their slow style and let teams snowball them hard. Regardless if they play early or not, DMO are

RNG have shown glimpses of dominance in the early game, but they revert back to their slow style and let teams snowball them hard. VG vs. LGD

This matchup is stylistically horrible for VG, as LGD are really good early, and in the game against FPX they showed the ability to get leads at 15 minutes, and they are up by an average of 455 gold. VG, when they are behind, have a tough time crawling back into the game because they are too macro oriented where they aren't focused hard on team fights, and it is usually iBoy who is the one that loses them games. iBoy is a player who still hasn't changed on when to fight, and he tries to front-line on a squishy champion. Peanut is very good at getting first blood and punishing overly aggressive players, and as long as LGD can scale and fix their late-game mistake like they had against FPX, they should easily 2-0 them. This game is going to be on the slower side, so the upside might not be there for fantasy.

Prediction: LGD 2-0

  • LGD Players to Target: xiye ($7,400), Peanut ($7,200)

SB vs. DYN

This is an interesting game, as SB were able to 2-1 DYN, but that game was really close and could have gone in either direction. SB had a bunch of hiccups against one of the worst teams in the LCK and have dropped bad games to some of the top teams. DYN have had a rough schedule, facing the top teams in the league and beating KT in between the stretch of hard matchups, and they could get overlooked Friday. DYN have a better early game, but SB have the better late game. In terms of gold at 15 minutes, they are both negative except sandbox are minus-1,025, which is 500 more than DYN, and they are dead last in first blood at 33 percent. DYN also lead first to three turrets at 48 percent, and if Sandbox are consistently down gold at 15 minutes, then DYN early game should be a hard task for SB to handle, as we saw in the previous matchups. As long as DYN are able to draft early with some scaling, and not botch team fights, then they can easily take this game and beat them like they should have last time. There is also a huge mid lane difference, as Kuzan has been dealing the most DPM on the team, and Rich is also playing great on some of these meta champions.

Prediction: DYN 2-1

  • DYN Players to Target: Everyone
