DraftKings LoL: Tuesday LPL Cheat Sheet

LNG vs. WE

WE have lost three games this split, each to top teams, while picking up six wins, including three against upper-tier opponents. There is no doubt that WE should be the favorite Tuesday, as they have been playing solid League of Legends that nobody wants to exploit. I've talked about this multiple times, but teams don't know how to draft and stop them from scaling into late game. WE are good at stalling games and waiting for the perfect team fight to crawl their way back into some games. LNG have had a lot of problems after their hot run at the start of the season. Maple is undoubtedly the worst mid laner in the LPL, and he is on Zoe duty; I am convinced that he can't play other mage champions. This should be a smash, but we have seen glimpses of light from LNG in the bot lane, and with Flandre coming back into the roster, their 10 percent win chance shot up to 30 percent. WE have shown they can throw games, or even get outplayed, because their style is so simplistic, but their team fighting is still one of the best in the league. I can see WE dropping one game and then doing what they do best: smashing the next two series.

On a two-game slate, the leverage play is LNG, as they will be lower than five percent owned compared to the other underdog.

Prediction: WE 2-1

  • WE Players to Target: Everyone
  • LNG Players to Target: Light ($6,600), Flandre ($5,400)

RW vs. LGD

This is where you will find Rogue Warriors being a little over-owned than they should be. They should have lost their last match 2-0 to DMO, who were pretty far ahead in the early game and threw their lead. After DMO did that, RW was about to throw their game until ZWuJi stepped up in the team fights and went big. We have never seen Haro dominate the jungle like that in a long time, and this is why I always repeat that Junglers are important in this meta. That said, LGD also hasn't looked the best even though their numbers suggest they are a top team, and this is because of xiye in the mid lane. In a league filled with amazing mid laners, Xiye's map awareness is pretty bad even with a good jungler because he is always the one getting caught out in the laning phase. xiye has been known to be more of a passive mid laner, and he is at best when he is playing more aggressive to match Peanut's play-style. LGD are like a RW in a sense that they love to team fight and sometimes revert to team fighting to get out of a gold deficit, but their mid-to-late game is a leap better when it comes to macro and decision making. LGD should smash this spot against RW, and this will be the bloodiest game on the slate.

Prediction: LGD 2-0

  • LGD Players to Target: Everyone
