Mitchell signed a contract with Zalgiris, the team announced Thursday via its official website.

ANALYSIS
Mitchell will spend one year with Zalgiris and perhaps another, as the deal includes an option for a second season. The 25-year-old has never played in the EuroLeague, but he averaged 10.9 points, 4.1 rebounds and 1.6 assists over 60 appearances with Besiktas of the Turkish league during the previous campaign, so he will have a chance to make a mark for his new club.
