Rest-of-Season Projections
Elevated to face Buffalo
Erickson was elevated from New England's practice squad Saturday ahead of Sunday's game against the Bills.
ANALYSIS
Erickson just joined the organization Wednesday. He likely doesn't know the playbook well enough yet to contribute significantly on offense as a wide receiver, but Erickson also has extensive experience as a return man and could be deployed in that special teams role.

This Week's Opposing Pass Defense
How does the Bills pass defense compare to other NFL teams this season?
The bars represents the team's percentile rank (based on QB Rating Against). The longer the bar, the better their pass defense is. The team and position group ratings only include players that are currently on the roster and not on injured reserve. Erickson has appeared in 99 NFL games but has only 96 career catches, as the 30-year-old wide receiver has played predominantly on special teams. He'll compete for a roster spot with the Jets in 2023 and could contribute as a return man, but Erickson's unlikely to carve out a substantial role on offense.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
On roster bubble?
Erickson may have a hard time making the Bengals' final roster in 2020 due to some offseason additions, ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Erickson has been a nice story since earning a spot on the team after going undrafted in 2016. However, the Bengals are already deep at wide receiver and still added rookie pass catchers Tee Higgins and Scotty Washington during the offseason. The Wisconsin product's value on special teams also diminished last year, as he was relegated to punt returner only. He is on the last year of a two-year contract and could save the team $1.9 million if ultimately let go.
