Vera-Tucker showed off his versatility prior to a season-ending torn triceps in 2022, performing at a high level after shifting from guard to tackle on the Jets' injury-riddled offensive line. The 2021 first-round pick is projected to start at right guard in 2023.
Vera-Tucker appeared in 16 of a possible 17 games as a rookie, starting at left guard in every appearance. The Jets traded up to select Vera-Tucker 14th overall with their second first-round selection of the 2021 draft. He's capable of sliding over to tackle if necessary, but the rookie lineman out of USC is projected to be a Day 1 starter at left guard for Gang Green.
