2024 Fantasy Outlook
Clifford is back to again work behind starter Jordan Love for the Packers. A fifth-round pick in last year’s draft, Clifford took 16 snaps all season, including playoffs, completing his only pass attempt -- a 37-yarder in Week 17 that traveled 34 yards in the air. That said, Clifford isn’t known for his arm strength, but at 6-2, 218, he is strong in the pocket and has decent mobility. The Packers have a good, young group of receivers and added Josh Jacobs to the backfield this offseason. If Love is out, Clifford figures to fill a game-manager role, but with coach Matt LaFleur calling plays and a strong supporting cast, Clifford could have value in two-QB leagues. Read Past Outlooks

Reverts to practice squad
Clifford reverted to Green Bay's practice squad Monday.
ANALYSIS
Clifford served as Malik Willis' backup during Sunday's win over the Colts since Jordan Love was out with a knee injury. Although Clifford didn't see any playing time, he could still be elevated once again for next week's matchup versus the Titans if Love remains out.

2023 Fantasy Outlook
A four-year starter at Penn State, Clifford was selected by Green Bay in the fifth round of this year's draft. That may have been a bit higher than expected considering he'll turn 25 years old in July and isn't known for his arm talent, but he fits the bill for the Packers, who value his leadership skills and athleticism and are in need of a backup behind first-year starter Jordan Love. Journeyman Danny Etling is the only other quarterback on the roster, so Clifford will get the opportunity to open the season directly behind Love on the depth chart.
