2024 Fantasy Outlook
Koo is one of the best kickers in the NFL but typically hasn't gotten enough PAT volume to rank as one of the top fantasy options at this position. He's made at least 86.5 percent of his FG attempts each season since taking over as Atlanta's kicker midway through 2019, going 23-of-31 from 50-plus yards (74.2 percent) and 39-of-46 in the 40-to-49-yard range (84.8 percent). Kicking in a dome more than half the time helps, with the Falcons assured of at least nine indoor games each season between their home stadium and the annual visit to New Orleans. They're scheduled for 12 dome games in 2024, and with QB Kirk Cousins presumably improving the Atlanta offense, Koo should be one of the better kickers for fantasy. Read Past Outlooks
Perfect in Monday's win
Koo made all three field-goal attempts and his only extra-point try during Monday's 22-21 win over the Eagles.
ANALYSIS
In order, Koo made field goals from 39, 22 and 34 yards. Arguably, his most difficult kick was the go-ahead extra point with 34 seconds left in the fourth quarter after Kirk Cousins found Drake London wide-open for a touchdown. Koo also had an extra-point opportunity taken away, as the Falcons aggressively decided to go for a two-point conversion after taking a 15-10 lead late in the third quarter. Koo has yet to miss a kick through two games but hasn't attempted a field goal past 40 yards.

Koo has converted more field goals (119) than PATs (111) through three and half seasons as Atlanta's kicker, establishing himself as one of the league's best (with some help from a dome) while being attached to subpar offenses. His work for the Falcons includes 20-for-25 from 50-plus and 31-for-39 from 40-49 yards, keeping him on the fantasy map even with the team relying on Desmond Ridder and Taylor Heinicke at quarterback. Koo is good enough to rank among the top fantasy kickers if the Falcons offense is merely decent, which might be the case even with sketchy QB play now that rookie Bijan Robinson leads the rushing attack.

May be offseason priority
ESPN's Michael DiRocco believes Koo will be a priority in the Falcons' offseason plan.
ANALYSIS
Franchise legend Matt Bryant started off the 2019 campaign with a 9-for-14 mark on field-goal attempts over the first half of the season. Koo came in and steadied the position with a 23-for-26 showing Weeks 10 through 17 of that season, developing even further by posting a 94.9 percent conversion rate en route to the first Pro Bowl nod of his career in 2020. With Koo's contract set to expire in March, newly selected general manager Terry Fontenot prepares to make a decision on the 26-year-old's future with the organization.
