Cayden Lindstrom Injury: Expected to remain out Thursday

Lindstrom (back) will miss Thursday's preseason game against Pittsburgh, per Aaron Portzline of The Athletic on Wednesday.

Lindstrom recorded 27 goals, 46 points and 66 PIM in 32 regular-season contests with WHL Medicine Hat in 2023-24. Selected with the No. 4 overall pick in the 2024 NHL Draft, Lindstrom has tremendous potential as a physical center who can also score goals. However, he needs more time to hone his game and is consequently projected to start the campaign with Medicine Hat, provided Lindstrom's healthy enough to do so.
