Sale notched seven goals and 14 points in 43 games for HC Kometa Brno of the Czech Extraliga last season. The Kraken selected the 18-year-old forward with the No. 20 pick in the 2023 NHL Entry Draft. Sale is slated to play for OHL Barrie during the 2023-24 campaign.

Sale might spend the 2024-25 season with AHL Coachella Valley, according to Mike Benton of the Kraken Audio Network.

ANALYSIS
Sale had 15 goals and 38 points in 49 OHL regular-season outings between Barrie and Kitchener in 2023-24. He added five tallies and seven assists in 10 playoff contests for Kitchener. Sale is eligible to play in the AHL, OHL or NHL during the 2024-25 campaign. The 19-year-old forward still could be loaned to Kitchener at some point, but developing in the AHL could be preferable for the Kraken if he doesn't claim an NHL roster spot out of training camp.
