Philippe Maillet

Maillet, 28, is a long shot to make the Capitals deep 2020-21 roster, but he produced well with 44 points in 61 games for AHL Hershey last year. He has 138 points in 201 career games in the AHL, but the Capitals have plenty of experienced and productive NHL-level wingers on their roster. There's a chance Maillet ends up on the taxi squad, but he's more likely set to stay in the minors for the final year of his contract with the organization.
