PLAYER RECOMMENDATIONS
GOALKEEPER
Marc-Andre Ter Stegen, GER v. NOR ($5,800): Pay up for Ter Stegen if you want to buy 10+ fantasy points. Germany is at home in this match, and a win could qualify them for Russia 2018, if Northern Ireland win as well. Norway will be overpowered Monday, and Ter Stegen is a great way to gain exposure to Germany's almost guaranteed win.
DEFENDER
Andrew Robertson, SCO v. MAL ($5,200): Robertson has been mightily active lately. He has been swinging the ball in a ton, and he scored a goal last time out in a game when his cross count wasn't great. He seems to be an elite attacking play at defender these days, and a matchup against Malta is a very favorable spot for the left back.
Marcel Rybus, POL v. KAZ ($4,800): Rybus and most of the Poland team is probably undervalued in this game. An away game against Denmark slipped away from Poland last time out, but a return home to host an undermatched Kazakhstan side should bode well for the Polish defenders, with plenty of bonuses and attacking opportunities to go around.
Gafurzhan Suyumbayev, KAZ at POL ($4,400): A cheap fullback who should be a lock for at least two or three crosses, Suyumbayev doesn't have the upside of the players listed above, but it is hard to find much talent below $4,500 at defender.
MIDFIELDER
Kamil Grosicki, POL v. KAZ ($7,800): There will be plenty of crosses for Grosicki on Monday, and it is likely that one of them earns him an assist this time out. He is a high quality winger who doesn't always make the most out of his opportunities, but the sheer volume of his attacking stats are enough to provide a stable floor with assist upside.
Mesut Ozil, GER v. NOR ($7,400): Expect Ozil to pick up his game this time out if he starts again. He got his assist last game, but his potential for more fantasy points should increase Monday against a poor Norway side.
Vladimir Darida, CZE at NIR ($5,700): Darida blasted a rocket past ter Stegen last week to continue his hot run of form for the Czech Republic. He is the man that the team depends on to be the difference maker in the attack, and his price is not representative of his significance to his team. The road factor is a negative here, but the price is right, and it is a game that the Czechs need to win.
FORWARD
Robert Lewandowski, POL v. KAZ ($11,100): Lewandowski didn't get his goal last game, but he returns home where it would be a shock to see him finish without at least one. Kazakhstan stands no chance against the Poles, and Lewandowski is sure to be fired up after last week's humiliating defeat to Denmark. He scored a penalty in the last game between these two teams, but on home soil it is a possibility that he gets a hat trick.
Leigh Griffiths, SCO v. MAL ($9,600): A Griffiths-Lewandowski stack could be a heavy hitter Monday. Whether it is through assists or goals, Griffiths produces for both Scotland and his club, Celtic. He is a fantasy gem, and the matchup is ideal, so Griffiths makes for a very tough fade.
Timo Werner, GER v. NOR ($8,700): Werner may be the striker of the future for the Germans. He has the speed and clinical ability that gives him the potential to be the long term solution for Germany at forward, but he will have to perform at the big stage on a consistent basis to earn the job. Like Griffiths, Werner has a great matchup, so try to fit all you can into you attack Monday.
