MATCHES (EDT)
2:00 p.m: Sporting KC v. Los Angeles Galaxy
5:00 p.m: Atlanta United v. Montreal Impact
8:00 p.m: Portland Timbers v. Orlando City
GOALKEEPER
Jeff Attinella, POR v. ORL ($5,200): Portland looks to be the most stable defensive situation Sunday. Sporting Kansas City won the U.S. Open Cup final Wednesday, with several players finishing the game injured. Also, Atlanta is in the middle of a home stand, in which they play seven games in three weeks. Orlando is coming off a thriller against Atlanta last weekend, but like always Orlando found a way not to take all three points. Liam Ridgewell should be back in the center of defense, which also strengthens Attinella's situation.
DEFENDER
Greg Garza, ATL v. MTL ($6,200): Garza was rested midweek with Chris McCann getting the start at left-back. He should be ready Sunday and have plenty of energy in the tank to get up the left flank. He is the clear top option at the position.
Jimmy Medranda, KC v. LA ($4,300): There is no telling if Medranda will start, but if he does he makes for a sharp play. He hasn't started at right-back for a while because every time he is in the lineup he starts in the midfield. If he starts, he provides a way to get another midfielder in your lineup.
Chris Duvall, MTL at ATL ($4,000): Duvall has been starting as a wing-back lately and it helps increase his production due to his more attacking role. He has been coming at a discount all year, and he has been a fine value play. Hassoun Camara got the start in the midweek, so Duvall is likely to start Sunday.
MIDFIELDER
Diego Valeri, POR v. ORL ($10,000): Valeri has scored in eight straight MLS games. Yes, you saw that right; how can you fade a man that is in that type of roll?
Miguel Almiron, ATL v. MTL ($9,800): Almiron has been running the show for Atlanta all season, and if he gets the start Sunday he makes for an excellent elite play. Like Atlanta, Montreal played midweek, so some of the Impact players may sit out for the match or at least be a bit leggy after the flight from Toronto to Atlanta.
Christian Lobato, KC v. LA ($3,500): Daniel Salloi, Gerso Fernandes and even Latif Blessing finished Wednesday's match with injuries, and they will likely not feature in Sunday's match against the Galaxy. Lobato is a cheap attacking option who is goal-dependent, but at his price you can get away with a single digit score.
FORWARD
Josef Martinez, ATL v. MTL ($10,200): At some point the Atlanta players are going to need a rest, and it could very well happen this game. Saturday will be Atlanta's fifth game in two weeks, and most of the starters have played every one of the first four games. There is no telling if Martinez will start, so keep an eye out for lineups to confirm that he is there. If he starts, he will be tough fade, though at his price he needs to score two goals. That being said, he has scored eight goals in his last four.
Diego Rubio, KC v. LA ($6,600): Since the trade of Dom Dwyer, Rubio has stepped up as the man to assume the role as center forward. He has scored four goals in eight games since Dwyer left town, and he comes at a modest price for a starting striker at home and in form.
Darren Mattocks, POR v. ORL ($4,800): This is a very low price to pay for a starting forward on a favored home team. It's not like Mattocks is on fire or anything, but he is in a great spot and very cheap.
