Stade de France, Paris

MATCH PREVIEW

France will clash with Iceland on Tuesday at the Stade de France in a Group H fixture in which the visitors will be hoping to continue their winning momentum against the world champions.

After a disappointing UEFA Nations League performance, France got back on track by winning 4-1 against Moldova in their Euro 2020 qualifying opener, one that saw Antoine Griezmann and Kylian Mbappe get on the score sheet. France have won 13 of their last 18 matches and are looking like a strong force in international football.

Iceland picked up their first win in their last 16 matches under manager Erik Hamren on Friday, as they trashed Andorra 2-0 and started their Euro 2020 qualifier with a win. However, they failed to win a match and finished at the bottom of Group D in the 2018 FIFA World Cup. However, when Iceland and France last met for a friendly, they produced a stellar performance, as the match ended in a draw thanks to goals from Birkir Bjarnason and Kylian Mbappe.

There is a long list of injury concerns, with Lucas Digne, Anthony Martial and Kingsley Coman out for France, while Iceland will be without Johann Berg Gudmundsson and Bjorn Bergmann Sigurdarson.

PREDICTED LINEUP

France: Hugo Lloris (GK), Benjamin Pavard, Raphael Varane, Samuel Umtiti, Layvin Kurzawa, N'Golo Kante, Paul Pogba, Kylian Mbappe, Antoine Griezmann, Blaise Matuidi
