PLAYER RECOMMENDATIONS

GOALKEEPER

Alphonse Areola, PSG at ADL ($4,500): Areola is criminally underpriced. PSG is on the road, so there is likely to be plenty of opportunities for saves, and Anderlecht does not have the offensive power that should scare Paris. I'm not saying it is a lock for a clean sheet, but Areola should certainly hit value.

DEFENDER

Dani Alves, PSG at ADL ($6,500): Alves should love playing in Wednesday's game. PSG should win by at least a couple goals, and Anderlecht will likely defend close to goal, which will give Alves lots of attacking room. He is still one of the best attacking full backs in the world, and PSG is one of the top favorites on the slate. Thomas Meunier started over the weekend, so it is likely that Alves starts ahead of the Belgian on Wednesday.

Gerard Pique, BAR v. OLY ($4,500): Pique is underpriced as a defender on the top favorite. There is a great chance for a clean sheet, while the defensive peripheral stats should be there to help him reach value. Pique is also one of the elite goalscoring defenders in the world, as he uses big frame to get on the end of deliveries. There should be plenty of set pieces for Barcelona, so Pique will be close to goal on many occasions.

Yuri, PSG at ADL ($4,000): Layvin Kurzawa is questionable to start, and if he doesn't, Yuri will be the benefactor. He was an attacking force at left-back for Real Sociedad before arriving at PSG, and if he gets his first UEFA Champions League start Wednesday, he will certainly be looking to make the most of it.

MIDFIELDER

Arjen Robben, BYM v. CEL ($9,000): Robben tried to put his country on his back in the closing matches of World Cup qualifying, but it was simply too late. He scored three goals in two games during the international break, and he is in fine form heading into Wednesday. Bayern should win this game by several goals, and Robben is the top candidate, along with Robert Lewandowski, to have a hand in at least one of them. He has just two goals in five Bundesliga starts this season, but the goals have been there, and it doesn't get much better than Wednesday's matchup.

Adrien Rabiot, PSG at ADL ($6,500): Rabiot is the type of player who is rarely rewarded on many fantasy formats, but FanDuel's scoring system allows him to have decent value, in general. However, on Wednesday, Rabiot has a very favorable matchup against Anderlecht, and he should see plenty of chances to get a goal of his own, if not an assist.

Paulinho, BAR v. OLY ($6,000): Paulinho is another player who fits well with the FanDuel scoring system. He has always been a box-to-box midfielder, but he has improved his attacking production in the past couple of years. His defensive production gives him a solid floor, while his two goals in limited minutes since joining Barcelona is a good indication of his attacking ability. There is no guarantee that he starts, but if he does he makes for a great value play.

FORWARD

Lionel Messi, BAR v. OLY ($14,000): It's a bold move to fade Messi, who has 11 goals in his last four home games. Enough said.

Neymar, PSG at ADL ($11,500): A Messi-Neymar stack could be the core to the winning team. Even though PSG is on the road, Neymar should not be fazed, as his opposition lacks the quality to prevent him from doing what he pleases with the ball. He will be all over the field, taking set pieces, and making penetrating runs through the opposing back line.

Edinson Cavani, PSG at ADL ($10,500): Cavani will be fed by the service of Neymar all game, and in a matchup of this nature that combination should be lethal. Cavani has only failed to score in two of the his last nine games with his club. He has the capability of scoring a hat trick, and he has the hunger that makes every striker great. Cavani is the safest pivot from Neymar.
