FORWARDS / MIDFIELDERS

Robert Lewandowski, BAY at RBS ($21): This is obviously not the most creative play and Lewandowski is likely to be the highest-owned player on the slate, but you don't want to miss on the type of production Lewandowski has put up this season in the Champions League. He's scored or assisted in all six matches and has nine goals to go along with two assists. Lewandowski has the highest goalscoring odds and is playing for a Bayern side with the highest-implied goal total. Leroy Sane ($19) is a cheaper alternative and has scored 22-plus points in five of six UCL matches. He and Thomas Muller ($18) are expected to support Lewandowski in attack and could benefit from any potential assists. Kingsley Coman ($16) has created the most scoring chances of any Bayern player in the Champions League and is the cheapest of all four.

Diogo Jota, LIV at INT ($19): After missing the past two Champions League matches, Jota should come back into the starting XI as he's fully fit. His 13 goals on the season trail only Mohamed Salah ($20) for Liverpool's lead in conversions and both have been at their devastating best. Salah is coming off significant minutes at AFCON while playing for Egypt and may be dealing with fatigue, while Jota

Salah is coming off significant minutes at AFCON while playing for Egypt and may be dealing with fatigue, while Jota should be good to go. Their goal records speak for themselves this season and the biggest reasons I'd opt for Jota is he's barely cheaper and is likely to be rostered less than Salah, who should be a popular choice. Liverpool have a number of other attacking options, starting with Sadio Mane ($18), new signing Luis Diaz ($17) and Roberto Firmino ($16). Jordan Henderson ($13) is the cheapest expected starter that I'd go for in Liverpool's midfield as he's been a consistent performer from a points perspective.

Ivan Perisic, INT v. LIV ($12): Over Ivan Perisic's last two UCL starts, he's created seven scoring chances, made four interceptions and five tackles to go with an assist. He's contributed in multiple ways and offers a high floor for a player whose price is low. It's possible he's tasked with more defending if Liverpool are able to get forward, which could further cement his floor. Perisic's role as a left wing-back offers the ability to contribute in attack as he's done for most of the season. Hakan Calhanoglu ($16) should take the majority of free kicks if Federico Dimarco ($9 - DEF) isn't in the lineup, giving him the opportunity for chances created.

Nicolas Seiwald, RBS v BAY ($14): Bayern are heavily favored, but if I had to opt for any attacker from Salzburg in cash games, it would be Seiwald, as he's relatively cheap and has at least 11 fantasy points in five of his six starts. He's taken the majority of free kicks for Salzburg, which is where some of his value comes from. For GPPs, you'll likely wanna opt for higher goal upside like Noah Okafor ($16) or Karim Adeyemi ($17), as they've paced Salzburg in goals during the group stage.

DEFENDERS

Ibrahima Konate, LIV at INT ($10): It's unclear whether manager Jurgen Klopp will opt for Ibrahima Konate in the starting XI or stick with Joel Matip ($9) as Virgil van Dijk's ($11) center-back partner. All three are comparatively cheap to Trent Alexander-Arnold ($15) and Andrew Robertson ($13), and carry the second-best clean sheet odds behind Bayern Munich. Konate started the past two Champions League matches, though Liverpool had sewn up first place in their group by then. That said, Konate and Matip are both cheap options who should be able to hit double digits, so you'll want to keep an eye on which one starts. On the flip side, Alessandro Bastoni ($7) is a cheap center-back who could see a high volume of clearances as Liverpool's outside-backs deliver balls into the box.

Andreas Ulmer, RBS v. BAY ($9): Bayern are heavy favorites and will likely have the Salzburg backline under siege for long stretches. This could result in a serviceable defensive day from the likes of Andreas Ulmer, who operates as a left-back, and Maximilian Wober ($13). Both have hit double digits in their last two matches and will have their hands full against Robert Lewandowski and company. For me, Ulmer is cheaper than Wober and offers a better chance to roster higher quality attackers. A solid GPP player would be Niklas Sule ($9), as he's super cheap and playing for the heaviest favorite on the slate.

GOALKEEPERS

Sven Ulreich, BAY v. RBS ($13): Ulreich will start in place of the injured Manuel Neuer and has the best clean sheet odds against Salzburg, while having a good chance for the win bonus, as well. Salzburg are an attacking outfit and should at least challenge Bayern's backline, potentially leading to a couple saves for Ulreich. After Bayern, Liverpool and Alisson Becker ($11) have the best clean-sheet odds, but they have an especially tough trip to Milan to face Inter's dangerous attack. Samir Handanovic ($9) is a bit cheaper and will see his fair share of save opportunities against Liverpool, while Philipp Kohn ($7) is the cheapest expected starting goalkeeper for Salzburg. He'll have the tough task of slowing down the likes of Robert Lewandowski and Leroy Sane. I'd go with Ulreich here as Bayern are huge favorites if your budget allows. Other than that, Alisson Becker's Champions League record this season speaks for itself, as he's finished with double digits in five of six matches.
