Aidan Miller

20-Year-Old ShortstopSS
Philadelphia Phillies AA
2025 Fantasy Outlook
One of the best pure hitters from the 2023 prep class, Miller opened the year at Single-A earned two promotions, finishing his first full pro season with five games at Double-A. He was one of the older high schoolers in his class, so Miller will turn 21 in June, but he has performed well enough to stay ahead of his peers on the march to the majors. He spent the majority of his season at High-A, where he slashed .258/.353/.444 with six homers, 12 steals, an 11.6 percent walk rate and a 22.1 percent strikeout rate in 58 games. Miller hasn't moved off shortstop yet, but it has long been thought that third base might be his long-term home. It's unclear whether he'll end up being a power-over-hit player, or just a well-rounded hitter who hits for average and power. The righty-hitting Miller stole 23 bases on 28 tries last year, but public scouting outlets give him average run times at best. He should get a long run at Double-A to being the year, before potentially finishing the year at Triple-A, which could set up a 2026 MLB debut. Read Past Outlooks

ANALYSIS
Miller was promoted to High-A Jersey Shore on June 10, and he maintained a 117 wRC+ across 258 plate appearances at the level. A first-round pick in 2023, Miller continues to move quickly through the organization as he'll be only 20 years old when the 2025 season kicks off.

ANALYSIS
The 27th overall pick in the 2023 First-Year Player Draft, Miller played in 20 games between rookie ball and Single-A Clearwater last season. Miller has enjoyed a strong start to his first full professional season in 2024, as he has a .327/.379/.519 slash line with two homers and six steals through 12 games. The 19-year-old is a couple years away from potentially seeing the majors but is already arguably Philadelphia's top prospect.
