Rypien is likely to enter the season as the Bears' No. 3 quarterback. The veteran is entering his fifth year in the league, a time in which the former Boise State product has thrown a total of 168 passes and posted a 4:11 TD:INT. His most extensive action came when he played with the Broncos in 2022, completing 60.2 percent of his passes while tossing two touchdowns and four interceptions.
