2024 Fantasy Outlook
Jones contributed the most during his rookie season on special teams, totaling 248 punt return yards, including a touchdown in Week 2 against the Ravens. He only played 44 offensive snaps, 21 of them coming in Week 18 when the Bengals rested many of their starters in the second half. With the Bengals drafting Jermaine Burton in the third round, Jones faces an uphill battle to earn an increased role in the offense. Read Past Outlooks

2023 Fantasy Outlook
Jones, the Bengals' fourth-round pick out of Purdue, was a really late bloomer, posting his first 1,000-yard season in his fifth collegiate year, at age 24. Jones is listed by the team as 6-foot and 188 pounds, but did test well at the combine with a 4.43-second 40-yard dash and a 124-inch broad jump. The Bengals expect to use him immediately in the return game, and he'll claw to earn reps as their fourth receiver. They'll have tough contractual decisions to make regarding Tee Higgins and Tyler Boyd, with the hope being that Jones might ultimately supplant Boyd in the future.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Could make early impact
Paul Dehner Jr. of The Athletic believes Jones will make the biggest immediate impact out of Cincinnati's 2023 rookies.
ANALYSIS
The Bengals selected three other players before drafting Jones out of Purdue late in the fourth round, but the slot receiver could be the team's most important rookie. Jones is expected to work as the return man on special teams, and he could thrive on offense if an injury to one of Cincinnati's top three receivers gives him the chance to step up. With Tyler Boyd set to hit free agency after 2023, Jones also gives the Bengals an in-house replacement for the 2024 season.
