2024 Fantasy Outlook
A seventh-round pick in 2023, Brooks saw little action as a rookie, but he did what he could with his opportunities and caught all six of his targets, with four of them coming in a Week 10 rout of the Giants. Michael Gallup is now a Raider, leaving the Cowboys' No. 3 receiver job open, and Brooks will head into training camp competing with Jalen Tolbert and others for the available snaps. Leading receiver in preseason loss
Brooks caught both his targets for 49 yards in Sunday's 13-12 preseason loss to the Rams.
ANALYSIS
With CeeDee Lamb still holding out and Brandin Cooks and Jalen Tolbert both sitting this one out along with most of the Cowboys' other offensive starters, Brooks got the start at wideout and caught a 43-yard strike from Cooper Rush on the team's opening drive. The second-year wideout then hooked up with Trey Lance for a short completion on Dallas' second possession before Brooks called it a day. The South Carolina product appears to have a fairly firm hold on the No. 4 spot on the depth chart, but that job could become more interesting from a fantasy perspective if Lamb's absence extends into the regular season, or he isn't quite up to speed by Week 1.

2023 Fantasy Outlook
A seventh-round pick in 2023, Brooks wasn't very productive in college and lacks standout speed or agility, but his size, strength and ability to bully his way to 50-50 balls could allow him to carve out a role in the NFL as a chain-mover and red-zone option. With Noah Brown now in Houston, Dallas has an opening for a physical depth receiver who can contribute as a run blocker and made contested catches, a job Brooks seems well-suited for.
