2024 Fantasy Outlook
Raymond has been with the Lions for three years. In 2023, the pass catcher had his worst season with the team. The main issue was that Raymond was targeted just 44 times in 17 games. One of the main reasons that Raymond saw a decreased role was that Jameson Williams saw an increase in playing time. It would seem that Williams is ready to see his role increase again in 2024. If that happens, Raymond could see his production fall even further. The veteran’s best hope for fantasy success would be if other Detroit receivers miss time. Read Past Outlooks

Two catches in Week 11
Raymond caught both of his targets for 30 yards in Sunday's 52-6 win over Jacksonville.
ANALYSIS
Raymond was able to secure a pair of catches after going without a reception in Week 10 against the Texans, notching his highest yardage total since Week 7. The wide receiver continues to operate as a small piece in a massively successful Detroit offense, reeling in 16 catches for 204 yards over 10 games in 2024.

2020
Raymond was a dependable asset for Detroit in 2022. Playing in all 17 games, the 2022 second-team All-Pro punt returner helped fill in for each of Amon-Ra St. Brown, DJ Chark and Josh Reynolds while the team waited the entire year for rookie Jameson Williams to recover from a knee injury. Even though the Lions eventually want Williams to run away with the No. 2 job behind St. Brown, Williams will miss at least the first six games of the year as a result of violating the league's gambling policy. That gives Raymond a chance to handle a large role at receiver out of the gate this season, especially because they only replaced the 26-year-old Chark with a 33-year-old Marvin Jones in the offseason.

Set for career-high volume in 2024?
Bradley Locker of Pro Football Focus expects Raymond to see a career-high target total in 2024 following the departure of Josh Reynolds in free agency.
ANALYSIS
Speedster Jameson Williams is the popular choice to absorb most of the 64 targets Reynolds saw last season, but Locker points out that Raymond has a more similar skill set to Reynolds as a wide receiver capable of moving the chains on short and intermediate routes when defenses focus on taking away Amon-Ra St. Brown. Raymond, who missed last season's playoffs due to a knee injury, saw 44 targets in 2023, down from 64 in 2022 and a career-high 71 in 2021, which was his first season in Detroit.
