ANALYSIS
The 2023 sixth-round pick took over from Kenny Pickett to begin the season half, but McKee failed to lead the Eagles to points on any of his five drives and turned the ball over twice, getting sacked and fumbling the ball on his first snap and then chucking a red-zone interception on his last one. This was the Stanford product's last chance to make his case for the No. 2 quarterback job behind Jalen Hurts, but McKee wouldn't seem to have done enough to overtake Pickett on the depth chart.

McKee engineered a seven-play, 70-yard touchdown drive in the fourth quarter of Thursday's preseason contest against New England, and he capped that off with a two-point conversion to give Philadelphia the 14-13 win. He completed 15 of 19 passes for 140 yards and a touchdown, and he comparatively outperformed Pickett, who finished 11-for-13 with 67 yards. Head coach Nick Sirianni told reporters after Thursday's contest that "Kenny's our No. 2.
