Rest-of-Season Projections
2024 Fantasy Outlook
Watt played in every regular-season game last year for the first time since 2019. He put together one of the most productive seasons of his career, tallying 68 tackles (48 solo), including 19 sacks, along with four forced fumbles, three fumble recoveries, an interception, a touchdown and eight pass defenses. Watt missed the team's wild-card matchup against Buffalo due to a knee injury but participated in OTAs this spring and should be ready for the start of training camp. If he can stay healthy for a second consecutive year in 2024, he should remain among the league's top defenders. Read Past Outlooks
Good to go against Ravens
Watt (ankle) was a full participant in Thursday's practice and does not carry an injury designation into Saturday's AFC North clash against Baltimore, Brooke Pryor of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Watt suffered a low-ankle sprain during the Steelers' Week 15 loss to the Eagles. It doesn't appear to be a serious issue, as he was able to practice without limitations Thursday. Watt has logged 5.0 sacks over the Steelers' last five games, and his 11.5 sacks through 14 regular-season contests is tied for third-most in the NFL with Nik Bonitto.

Watt was the 2021 Defensive Player of the Year with a record-tying 22.5 sacks but was limited to a career-low 10 games last year after undergoing arthroscopic knee surgery following Week 1. The 2017 first-rounder was productive when he returned to the field and finished the year with 39 tackles (27 solo), including 5.5 sacks, with two interceptions, a forced fumble and five pass defenses. Injuries have been the primary concern during Watt's career, but if he can stay relatively healthy in 2023, he should remain among the league's top defensive players.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Will play in pivotal AFC North game
Watt will be available for Saturday's AFC North clash against Baltimore, Brooke Pryor of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Watt was a full participant in practice Thursday and avoided an injury designation altogether, marking a major step in the right direction after he was listed as a non-participant in Tuesday's walkthrough and limited in Wednesday's walkthrough. He sustained a low-ankle sprain in the Week 15 loss to the Eagles, which forced him to exit in the second half and put his availability against the Ravens in question. The Steelers are just 1-10 when Watt doesn't play since he was drafted, so his return meaningfully improves Pittsburgh's chances.
